Sing Into The Storm

Singing into
the Storm

When storms approach, most birds seek shelter. There are a few species though that actually fly into the storm. In fact, the louder the storm gets, the louder they sing. After battling stage-4 cancer for the last 10 years, Paul Reeves has learned to sing into the storm.

Paul has begun sharing the vulnerable stories from his journey with his most recent album, Sing Into The Storm. This album is a musical journal of what he discovered along on the way. When you’re told you may have one year to live, you can’t help but think about the biggest questions of our existence- What is the real storyline of our existence- Where did we come from? Why are we here? How do we relate to the source from which we came from? How are we to live here and now? And of course, where is this story ultimately heading after we die?

“While these questions can be overwhelming, if we press hard enough into them, we discover nothing but unbounded love on the other side. Cancer ended up being the voice loud enough to get my attention that my spirit needed healing. While it certainly wasn’t clear from the beginning, it has turned out to be nothing but a gift of grace. I’ve been liberated from a lifetime of fear and brokenness and welcomed into infinite love and peace and freedom! Beneath our brokenness we find a perfectly loved child of God. My prayer is that all would know we are fully loved- in fact our very DNA is the love of God.”
